Upgrading k&n

Does any one have a picture of the aftermarket flange to get a bigger air filter in the air box. There is a machine shop next to my work I'm going o get them to make me one and the demotions too. Thanks guys

coming from a 2t world where K&N is bad news and dont catch everything, is a K&N really and upgrade??
