Tried them (advanced rotors, same thing) in a FZR600 and a GSXR750.
They did nothing at all for a stock bike.
Probably takes a dyno to see any increase.
they actually are just as good on a stock motor. i haven't heard of them shearing easier either. question i have is a 10-1 piston a low enough compression to not have this cause detonating cause then id get one
ok i guess these work best on a stock motor as it causes the flame to hit the piston right as its going down. the higher you raise the compression the less thats needed and i wouldn't recommend it for anything over 10-1. this also causes your motor to run hotter
yeah guys i have been trying to comment on this all damn day but my computer keeps locking up when i get to it...
anyways yeah it makes 2.1hp on a 43hp banshee at over 4000rpm... now granted they are two entirely different engines but say the warrior has 20hp... does that mean it will make 1hp extra? and will it still be at over 4k? because if thats the case then i wouldnt bother
then on the other hand maybe it will really make more power because of the difference between 2 and four stroke... i dont know... wonder if mickey dunlop offers anything lke this or what he would have to say about it....
yeah probably the best way to test it would be to get a baseline on a dirt road somewhere... from a dead stop, go WOT thru the gears.. make note of certain trees or signs where you shift... and then put the advanced key in and see if it makes a difference...
