How much performance gain can I expect from a standard bore 10.25-1 compression piston and a Vito's key. I already have fmf slip-on, k&n air filter and 150 main jet

Id say 2-4hp
throw a s1 or 2 hot cam in to bump it up a little more

will it be about the same gain as the the muffler jet and air filter or more or less

I'm on a tight budget so im doing a little at a time might do my own head port and polish

it should be close to the same, maybe a little bigger jump with the comp., cam and degree key, although if your gonna have the jug off delete the jug gasket and that will get you to 10.75:1 compression.

Which gasket is that and how can you just remove a gasket without it having a compression leak

The jug gasket is between the cases and cylinder, remove it and replace it with either gray or black silicone, it will lower the head and bump compression, I did it on mine with a s1 no problems

I didn't know if you were talking about the top one or bottom one but how will there not be an oil leak

Have you or do you no anyone that has done it just for reference

I guess you answered my question haha

I have another question how does the vitos key work

for $22 it's worth it, probably the cheapest upgrade you can do in terms of internal engine mods
It makes it hit harder in the bottom end according to Gen1Pat

Can it be ran in a stock motor if so how hard is it to install

Planing on getting the piston for Christmas

id do the key and a hotcam stage 1 first that will be a better gain, what year is yours ive got a programmable cdi for 97-01 that adds a good bit of power. for the key you just need a puller to get the flywheel off
