my bicycle calls for a wipe down with lube, makes it look all shiney and nice.. so i thought.. why not old blue?

WORKS GREAT! .. dont use it on the seat thou..

anyone else use the WD for some plastic dressing?

first time i washed the quad the decals all blew off, minus a couple..

from all the pictures i see how do you guys keep the stickers on??

the easiest way is to not pressure wash it.... hand wash the plastics... they come alot cleaner anyway....

just dont put alot of WD-40 on the plastics or you will be losing bolts all over the place

In fact using any kind of dressing is gonna make dirt stick like a magnet...if i had to reccomend any kind of plastic dressing it would be cheap tire shine spray in aerosol cans. You can go wild with it and not have to worry about losing bolts

A strong pressure washer can be a quad's worst enemy. The cheap electric ones aren't that powerful, but a real high output one or any gas engine powered one is going to be pretty harsh on everything. Aside from them blasting the decals off, they will also force water and dirt into the seals, which will destroy the bearings and bushings. Either use a low output pressure washer and still avoid the seals, or just use a regular garden hose and a brush to clean it.

WD-40 and any other oily protectant will just make dirt stick and make it more difficult to clean, Armor-All isn't as bad but it'll still attract dust to sticking more than just leaving it dry. The only time I use any protectant is after I wash it when I know it's going to be sitting for a month or longer. I don't know if it helps, but plastics tend to dry out and get brittle over time and I'm hoping this helps preserve them and prevent that from happening.

OR......you can buy a DeadLast kit and never have to worry about your decal ever coming off, ever. That and you quad will look kick ass then!
