weird sound in back end?

hey when i go over a bunch of small hills fast and my rear shock compreses it makes a weird sound but im not sure if its the shock what could that be? Thanks alot

Squeaking, creaking, cracking? Weird sound can mean a lot of things, for all we know it could sound like a screaming goat, you gotta help us out more than that.

you may need swing arm bearings that pivots every time you hit a hill and does have small rubber seals in it,, one may have shifted and squeaks.... try pulling on your grab bar as you look at it to pin point where its coming from......could be the sound of a shock going bad...and is not rebounding fast enough find out if its the shock if not then look at your swingarm eliminate one thing at a time....and make sure there is not a screaming goat back there
