hi guys,

I rebuilt my motor over summer with a hone and a wiseco std piston and i worked first time but needed a tune. i haven got round to this ill this weekend since ive been at college.
Its been coughing farting all weekend and i decided i had a vacuum leak in the crappy boot so i wrapped in some inner tube and rtv sealant and replaced o rings. it ran a lot better but still not right till got what i thought was a pretty good tune on the low speed circuit and was riding for a bit and then got into 3rd and it just sounded like it ran out of gas and stopped. Pressed the starter and it cranks, catches once and then stops. If you give it some throttle i runs a bit but then stalls as it misses. I put a replacement jet kit in it, not a dynojet just a replacement kit as i cant get one in the UK. There's no smoke or anything when it runs and there was no bad noises when i stalled as described above. There seems to be gas getting to the carb.

any thoughts?

cheers,
Tom

Hi guys,

Took the carb down and main jet was full of dirt.

On another note, I went to a wiseco std 10.25 piston and cone filter and it seems to run pretty lean on main jet. It's got a 120 in it now so could someone recommend a new size who have a similar set up?

Cheers

Tom
