Well, I've been wanting to get a 2nd quad, something a bit more modern & with a bit more potential. I'm Yamaha through & through so I'm 700R bound. I like the gray/red on the '07-'08 models so that's what I'm going for, however, one really cool one I'm interested in has black wheels & that's just not me. Any of you guys tried to remove the paint or powder coat or whatever it is?

That is what I did and it will not dissapoint you. Really fast stock as well. People are getting crazy horsepower with just bolt ons.

buy it. then use aircraft remover to strip the paint. bingo! there ya go.

Man, they look sharp! Well I ended up getting an '07 model just like I wanted with decent stock Dunlops on the front & a brand spanking new set of Holeshot H-D'S out back on the wheels I wanted. I'll try & see if Pat Will post some pics of it for me in a bit, my phone does a crappy job. Jason, if you get the chance, hit me up, I'd like to get your opinion on some mapping maybe.

What programmer do you have, I would hit up Cuervo racing for a map...

It's sooooo stock right now, aside from a UNI filter so it has no fuel controller. I'm researching & trying to figure out the best option for me. My plans for a big 3 kit are basically a DMC force 4, a CFI intake & whatever fuel controller works best for me. I like the MSD & PC5 for capability of ignition recurving as well as fuel. At the same time the DMC controller is so simple in how it works... Idk, man, Prolly gonna be MSD.

The web SHOULD work when I get home. Couldn't get the damn thing to do anything lastnight. When I get home I'll get those pics of the 700 up for all to see. It is a sweet machine!

those red headlights are sick!!!
exactly what do those lowering blocks do for the front shocks or ride?
