It sucks cause these are all in my neck of the woods if I had the money I'd jump on those 250sx's love em!
 
I want to build a 330 big bore and put it in one! I have a good 300 bottom end with awesome crank in it. All I'd need is the 300ex big bore piston, and head.

83 was the 1st year for honda's pro link suspension for the R. Which is why I want one. Also has better forks, brakes, and chassis. Would have liked one with a mugen 300 kit.
 
You can still do a lot with the 81 and 82 R. The 200x forks are a common swap. So is the 350x, but, it is heavier. Then there is stretching the swinger, disc brakes, etc... Go to airfoolers.com. Some neat **** on there.
 
I had a twin set of 84 200x both were in really good shape. picked them up of the original owner an ol farmer in Nc for $500 they didnt run. been sitting in the barn since the early 90's. I pulled the carbs and changed out the plugs and added fresh fuel and boom second kick on both they fired right up. Then started first kick every time after that. I then turned around and sold one for $1100 and the other to a buddy for $800 so i didnt do to bad but I now wish i had never gotten rid of them but we came on hard times and the toys had to go.
 
Happens to a lot of us. The 84 was a neat idea, but, had it's short comings. They got it right in 86 and 87.
 
Nice. About 5 months ago I came across two 350x's that were complete, had been sitting, and the guy only wanted 400 for them both. I called and called, but, never answered.
 
You like that do ya Levi? I can find tons of these ATC's and they are all within a 100 miles of me they are very plenty full here in WI

YES I DO!! My Uncle had one almost indentical to that one for sale when i was alot younger he would take me for rides on it. he would tigh me to him with his sweat shirt and do wheelies for ever! hahaha then i got older and he let me ride it all the time thing was nuts.
