Can't beat an R. That bike is a legend for a reason. Notice there is not much talk about the suzuki 250r. Especially when you figure that the honda has 100cc less than a banshee and it will spank that ass. Ofcourse, if wide open spaces are what you want it for, why not find a quadzilla?

Because I have always loved Honda and quadzillas are very rare in Ontario and if there is one on Kijiji.ca its probably a peice off **** or the guy wants 4000$ haha

Hey I'm with ya there. I love my warrior but that is the ONLY yamaha I will ever own, except for a tri-z or maybe a banshee. I am still a honda man. Especially when it comes to 4x4. They have the best utility bike, imo.

Oh, well, now that we're talking wide open spaces I Will say Banshee. For me, here's why, TONS of power can be had out of that lil engine, the machine was built for a very long time, it has a huge following, lots of internet & vendor support, etc... & I'm a Yamaha man, lol!
I've been doing quite a bit with Blaster lately & much of the Banshee & Blasty are similar. I love the look of the Banshee too, it's just got an evil look to it. Now, it does not have the stock handling that a R has, nowhere near but it is a great machine & can be built to handle well, like anything else. The TRX250R is a legend in the handling dept. though man, hard to beat.
The LT250R Suzuki is imo one of the coolest looking machines ever built but the *******s won't stay together, they run great when running but are blow prone.
If you want something that just comes on & gets "RAW"...... BANSHEE! Do some tuning, add a pair of Toomey's, jet it, advance the time, air filter stuff & a neck brace. Hold the **** on bro!

The only problem I have with the banshee is there is 2 of everything because it's a twin so if something goes wrong and I have to rebuild its gonna be a bit pricey lol

They are a great lookin bike. And the parts are plentifull. Cheaper than a 250r. And the quadracer was cool. All those old bikes had so much character and rawness about them. Even the 4 strokes where cool lookin. All the new machines are cookie cutter.

if it was me i would look for an older yfz450 or a 660 Rappy

I would look at a honda or yamaha 450's. Outlaw/preditor with the ktm 525 engine.

banshee or trx would be cool as well.
