When I bought my warrior it was missing the circlip that goes on the clutch lever shaft. Talking about the splined shaft that comes out of the case vertically beside your right leg. The circlip that holds the clutch lever from popping off the top of the shaft.

What size of clip is it? I want to pick one up but need to know what size it is. Thanks.

i dont know what size it is but i can tell you that i havent had one for 8 months, and who knows how long the guy before me ran without it.... sure it is supposed be there but you can run it without.... come to think of it i should probably try to find one too before i have an issue

any yamaha dealer should be able to tell u but if you look in the parts diagrams that are listed it shows the clip. you could probably go to your local auto parts store and get one as long as you bring the quad with so they can match it or dont mess with it and just buy a yz250 shifter and go direct shift. in most of the guys opinion on here they would go direct. just my 2cents

I just did the raptor clutch cable conversion and while my old dirty clutch lever seemed to stay on fine without the clip, the new clean one seems to move around a lot easier. I'll hit up my local yammy dealer, thanks.

yeah i should have said before that if you go to a parts store your liable to find a little kit of a bunch of different sizes.... you can probably buy a whole kit from a auto parts store for the same as you can buy that one from a stealership....
