I have a 2000 Warrior fully stock. I have $600 to spend what would give me the most HP for my money. I cant really do any taking apart myself. I would have to take it to a dealer, so I would have to spend money labor .

Thanks for the space

aftermarket slip-on pipe... (HMF, White brothers, supertrapp are my top choices) i have a supertrapp on my and i also custom built the discs for it. Then a better flowing air filter and have it re jetted to the pipe and filter.
A direct link shifter is a great cheap up grade (i again custom built mine)
Depending on the type of riding you do you may want to change the front sprocket to get more use out of the power.
Thats really about it unless you want to get into swapping cams and hi-comp piston.

on the pipe you should look on ebay for a good used one and save alot of $$$

Thanks for all the info Girl.

What type of sproket should I get. We mainly ride in open sand and dirt trails.

Shes talking tooth count. Does the quad have any upgrades at the moment? I say Pipe, Filter, re-jet, and tires. If you had some basic tools and a little know how, you'd save yourself a ton of money, more to spend on the quad!

The only thing it has is rear Itp hole shots. I think the size is 20/10/9 I have to douple check. I can going to do filter and exhaust and the rejet. Which one is proven to make Hp.. I dont want to waste my time on junk.

Thanks everyone

Id deff. do a proflo or similar direct filter set up, running a K&N or Uni. The "best " warrior exhaust that has been tested was the White Brothers eSeries. It has since been discontinued, so unless you buy used, I'd say a HMF is the next best option. Re-jetting is time consuming and reflects on each bike individually. I can say that the Dyno Jet kits are a waste of money though.

You sound pretty good on the tires. Perhaps jump up a tooth on the front because your running 20's in the rear?

i'm running 20-10-9 Pure sport Bandits on the back and 14/47 gearing but the ONLY thing i do is ride woods and very tight trails.

I'd opt for the uni filter since you said you ride in sand some. and get the HMF pipe in the color of choice. and as deadlast said jump a tooth on the front sprocket. and again a direct shifter makes WORLDS of difference... no HP gain but it makes the transmission feel so much tighter.

as far as what makes the best HP... it's not logical to put a aftermarket filter in the allows the engine to breath better and leave the stock very restrictive pipe on it... it defeats the purpose. and vise versa... the stock filter will restrict the airflow into the engine and hold back on the extra hp the after market pipe makes. SO if you do one you need to do the other :). and trust me! NEITHER is a waste of time or money! you'll be very happy with the extra power you'll get from just opening the it up so it can breath.

Thanks for all the information. I got the KN filter and a slip on hfm.
Will this help me out?
WARRIOR 350 YFM350 ALBA REV BOX IGNITION CDI 97-01

The links not workin for me, but the only aftermarket cdi i would get would be the programable dynatech. Im not real for sure on this but i think the stock warrior cdi has no rev limiter at all.

This an Alba Racing CDI "Rev Box" for the YAMAHA WARRIOR 350 YEARS 97 THRU 01 . Easily plugs in to the existing wiring harness.
PART # PE-C-AY350W-B
WARRANTY - 12 MONTH BY PROCOM ENGINEERING
UP TO 2 H.P. GAIN, BY SAFELY ADVANCING THE TIMING
INCREASES THE REV LIMIT BY 1000 RPM WHICH INCREASES THE TOP SPEED
IMPROVED THROTTLE RESPONSE AND EASIER STARTING

Here is what it says. I dont have $200 for a revbox. This one is only $77.
But if doesn't help rather get something else with the money.

dont get it those are a waste of money, get a 150 main jet to go with the filter and pipe. btw did you get the clamp on filter kit or the drop in because if you got the drop in return it and get the clamp on. also do a 14 tooth sproket on the front and your good to go

I think it might be the drop in. I will call to see if i can exchange it.
Is their a specifc name for the clamp on filter systems?

Anything else you guys think I may need, that will help me beat my son in his raptor. His raptor is alot faster than my warrior...

Hahaha i bet he loves that! Maybe go with a .390 web cam with HD springs, and get the head ported. That would def. wake it up.

Yes he loves it. I thought it was me ,so I had my husband drag raced him at Busco. My husband stays with him throw 3 gear and then raptor just takes off and pulls away. I tought the motors where the same?
