I am still racing the warrior in tt races and go back and forth from lowered to stock height. I have a stock shock in the rear and was curious as to which aftermarket rear shock I should go with without getting ridiculous on price, but I know it will be pricey. I ride trails, sand dunes in Oklahoma, and race TT. Also I do not want to go with works

If you want aftermarket performance for a better price, here's my suggestion. Get a used banshee shock and send it out to TCS/Race Tech and have them re-valve it and re-spring it for your application. The banshee has compression, rebound, and preload adjustment, and is the same length as the stock shock. The only modification that you will have to make is to create some clearance for the piggyback reservoir, all you have to do is put a dent in the airbox. That shock with the correct springs and valve stacks will have the performance of a good aftermarket shock, good durability, and will still cost you less than a Works shock.
