your logo shows alot of thought, i like it.but i gotta admit i had to look back a second time to figure out the NSD in red on the left side.

to answer your post title-

fox shocks logo.
no words, instantly recognisable at first glance,since the 1970's

also i really am partial to the yamaha logo,(the circle with the tuning forks).
to me it speaks of artful precision engineering

also got to give props to FMF.
how e'ffin cool is it to name your company "FLYING MACHINE FACTORY"?

@87 - Thanks! I think it'll fit in nicely in the extreme sports market. NSD stands for "Never Say Die". It has nothing to do with beastlys favorite hobby.

@Bill - HAH, thats exactly what I was going for. I just needed some icon and I figured I could make something cool using NSD. That's cool that you were able to see it. Logo icon don't necessarily need to have a purpose, just something that you reconise and you know what company it goes with.

Plus I set it up so I could have some fun tiling it for stuff.

I'm still tweaking it a bit. I want to beef up the thickness f the lines on the icon a little. But you guys are getting the first glance at it. Keep your eyes peeled, big things are in the works!
