Why are DG full systems so cheap?

I'd prefer HMF over FMF based on reputation and sounds quality. Not that FMF makes junk it's just preference. Also, you can get quiet cores for HMF and they do a great job. The sound quality is still there but just not nearly as loud.

Does the HMF performance series come with a spark arrestor?

I was actually looking at that exact listing, I like that price.

My pc ain't too bad. I like the tone. Yoshi's are nice.

There's actually a used PC T4 muffler on ebay right now for $180, good deal?

I had the powercore 4, and a powerbomb header on mine. I really liked it for both sound, and appearance. My neighbor has an HMF on his quad, and I think it's pretty damn loud. Definitely louder than the FMF muffler.
The PC4 has a deep throaty sound, and the HMF has a snappy kinda ricey sound. It's all preference I guess.. What do you like? Muscle type sound, or a ricer type sound??

Good old American muscle. lol. I like the deep, rich, throaty sound.

yeah i was bout to say... yeah ya do. no wonder so many people are having problems with glowing headers!

A little jetting is required but not all that much... 155 most... If you live near sea level you don't need to rejet all that much... Maybe be more jetting at higher altitudes. Yamaha should start thinking about adding fuel injection to there out dated 350 engines

Depends on your overall set up. My stock carb with the DG slip on, and DRW intake is at 52.5 pilot and 155 main.

If you don't have to rejet with an aftermarket pipe, isn't that just telling you that the pipe isn't helping much?

If it really was, they would sell you the jets with it... when I bought my GYTR pipe for my Raptor 700, Quad Tech specified get the PC 3 and we will program the mapping in the Power Commander for you. I had done to much mods in my Quad so they sent me over to a dyno shop the guy had similar mapping so he sent me the mapping. It was a f***en bomb ! :slayer:

Most guys can't tell their quad is lean, when I put and exhaust on but still had the lid on I didn't tell much difference until I started playing with the carb that's when I noticed a difference in the power output
