Because everyone looks down on them, and then when you modify them and keep the relativly sleeper looking, you can surprise alot of people. That and when i bought it i wanted something above a starter quad level and something rock solid reliable and that has some potential. Yet after going from a yz80 dirtbike to it, i wasnt all that impressed since at the time, my bike was maybe a little faster. But i settled in and rode since it was alot newer and in much better shape. Then after some mods its suited me well. As of now its fast but im so used to it, hopefully my new mods will suit me, they should for at least another year. I will hopefully be shopping for a banshee soon.

bike handles amazing. i have not flipped once, or fucked myself over on a jump. suspension is okay but not enough for what i do.

i have had some basic stupid problems but i run it hard, and the motor still keeps chuggin. keeps up with buds z400 and rappy easily. other than that i just love the look and feel. everyone always says this thing feels very stable and tight. i dont think one person has complained about it :)

here yah go warriorspeed.

ive had mine since like 96 and until last october i broke the first item on it. my front shock. my fualt landed in a nosse dive and it snapped at the lower moutning point. never had any motor tranny. etc problems has always been a awwesome quad for me.

Starting last year is when i got into quads( modding) i have alot of plans for my warrior on the future

Because it is the BEST trail quad out there! There has not been any hill I could not make it up, of any trail I could not make it threw! My Warrior and I are One!

Well mines 10 years old and has yet to fail me. I've never had to rebuild the motor or anything. Yeah its getting a little weak now but I'm going to fix that. It has just the right power for everything. Its the best 2wd bike I've rode in the trails. I'll never let my warrior go.

The only problems I've found are:

Two valves just doesn't cut it for hill climbing, but that can be fixed by letting it breathe liquid nitrous and fuel!!! ;D ;D ;D

A bit too heavy, but also a fix when you add a aftermarket swinger and toss some other OEM parts away.

Some of the wiring sucks balls, but can once again be fixed easily with custom wiring.

Other than these it has a very tough chassis and motor for what it was designed for, great quad and now a classic hotrod in the quad world.

Its a great trail quad. Reliable, quick and fun to ride. And there is a strong aftermarket following.

first because I have proven to everyone its easy to wheelie a warrior.

I have an 89, got it running after it was rolled and sat for a while, just cleaned the carb. started on the bike in 1998 been riding it until now, only went through 2 sets of rear bearings, some brakes, a rear shock, and a new chain and sprockets cause I cracked the case. It has started up in any weather, got through what most dream to. to this day always said I would buy another, and 2 weeks ago I did. Still riding on the original clutch and motor nothing was ever adjusted. Runs like a raped ape. Mike
