There is such a thing as too low of gearing. That will make tires spin rather then hook up.

I think that's my problem.

I agree with mswarrior: these machines WILL stand up but they don't like too. That's wat I love about mine. It's so well balanced the front won't come off the ground goin up a hill unless I do it on purpose!

That's pretty bad dude. I can wheelie with +2 swinger (+3/2nd gen), 15/40 gears, 21" tires, and stock carb, all on the engine(no clutch). When the FCR is on, I may need to hold on.

Totally agree. Serves no purpose, hard on bearings, too. About the only time it is worth doing is when you have woops, uneven ground, pot holes, etc... Just pull up and float over it. Works great to avoid puddle, too. And I'm not comfortable riding wheelies. I can, and don't mind, popping wheelies; but I DO NOT like to ride them. Which is weird because I can ride a rearing horse like it's nothing...

Yeah that's a decent sized cam for a stock stroke engine. That's ne of the reasons why I went with the stroker. Got a good deal from James on the 252x1, and the stroker helps to balance the power band. The 252x1 is a .450 lift cam with over 270* duration. I think it is like 276*

I'll be getting all my stroker kit hopefully this week... And will start the Build... Can't wait to feel the difference ! We got beaches that spreads for miles and miles ! As soon as the snow melts I'll be popping wheelie like crazy ! I'll post videos ! :tup:
