This may be a noob quiestion, But my warrior KILLS the battery! It will not stay charged. And the lights only come on with a good battery? Dose the lights run on a magneto? or off the battery? I might have some kind of wiring problem.

Thanks! i'll check it tomorrow. The person i bought it off of has riged everything together!! I was told it was a 98 model, and bought the wrong wiring harness =(, Now i have to buy the 95 model haress because the 97+ wont plug in to the cdi box or anything.

Had the same problem with mine...and it turned out to be a dead cell or 2 in the battery... Replaced the battery and all good.

Check the voltage on ur batt. should be a little over 12volts...then turn on the lights if the voltage drops off then its prob the battery(or could just be dead...so charge it up then try again) if same(dropoff) then batt is bad...

If u do this while the quad is running the batt should be over 12 volts and when you turn on the lights if it is still over 12 volts its not the stator(it is continuing to charge the batt)... and if u turn the quad off with the lights on then the voltage drops on the batt...the batt is prob bad.

Good Luck!

Its a new battery haha. Its like the 4-wheeler isnt charging it back up or something. But it dose have Splices in the wiringharness. Im thinking the ppl before me has messed it up!

you might want to also go though the whole wiring harness and check all those splices. Or better yet get one off of ebay.

im going to order me one after i sell the newer one i got lol, Thanks for all the help guys! i really need it

Dont just use black tape lol, Go to advance auto and get those little connectors that you can Clamp together, then heat them up so no water will get down in there.
