wont start. you've got to be kidding me??

ok so i just finished putting my stage 1 hot cam in. so i hooked everything up and tried to start it and it would turn over real slow. i know the clearances are perfect and timing is spot on. so i charged up the battery and got it running. ran ok i guess. still some fine tuning left. so the thing is i tried to start it again and the solenoid just buzzed. i have 2 solenoids and tried them both. same outcome. any thoughts would be great. also all the terminals are clean.

What about when u hook the charger up to it and juice it for a jump start? Hows it turn over then?

Hey, don't know what it did but when my solenoid did that i took a screw driver and jumped the post a couple times and it never happened again. don't know if that's what your supposed to do but i know it works..lol

well i figured it out last night. the wire on the starter was not getting good contact. thanks for the info tho
