Anyone have a write-up for replacing the clutch? ... Thinking about doing it soon.. Gonna replace the cable and add an extra steel plate. Not much adjustment left, 1 turn and slipping, one turn the other way, grabs right off the bat.

Its not that hard to do just once you get it all apart put it back together the way it came apart i did it on my warrior when i was 15 bymyself so it cant be that hard lol

but here is a link that will help you out when adding a plate in the clutch.

And if you are going to add a plate to the clutch and replace the cable you should go ahead and do the raptor clutch set up here is a link to it. It will make the pull of the clutch lever 10 times easier to pull.

Any special tools needed? I did see something in the service manual about a tool to hold the clutch while removing the main bolt.

I just was wondering what all had to be removed... brake pedal? footrest? etc..

You can also make the clutch tool outta a pieace of steel and two bolts, the clymer manuel even shows you how to.
