wtf Glowing red pipe

As you can see from my sig what i got done. For the first time in my life i ran my warrior at night and my friend pointed something out that was very weird. my pipe (from at the engine to were it dips down and back up) is glowing red. And this is after only a little riding (like 5-10 mins). in the cold...(20F).

Just woundering if this is bad. Ive never ran it at night to notice this nasty glow. I will post pics by tommorow night.

A little glowing is normal, but if it's as bad as you're saying, you might be running too lean. If you had it jetted for the warm weather and never rejetted it for the cold weather that's your problem.

Sounds to me a bit on the lean side of things. May want to check your plug and go from there.

my pipe does the same thing.. it will be fine nothing has happend to mine

Jetting should be checked.... mine never glows and im running a hell of alot hotter than you guys.

But is it glowing at idle or glowing while riding... if its at idle it might not be a problem. But if its at speed then your way lean.

I would go up a jet size or two, your running to lean. It you get it to hot you'll melt your airbox.
