Yamaha Warrior 350 Accelerator Pump Spray Direction?

So I just bought a OEM (USED) carb from eBay to replace this jeep knockoff chinese ZOOMZOOM carb and was wondering if the direction of the spray from the acclerator pump is normal? My ZoomZoom went straight in the carb but the OEM sprays to the side?
Is this normal?
I assume maybe it sprays to the side so it mists off the side and is better atomized?

nah i would say it is supposed to spray right into the carb. i would say someone tinkered with it. you should be able to put a flat head on it and turn it
