yz250f shifter

i'm interested in the yz shifter that i see a few of you guys run. I got that it is for a yz250f, any specific year? I think they started making the four-stroke about 91-92? any info would be great!

Wha no yz250 not 250f complety different bikes they started making the f in 2003. The shifter is any year yz250

Banshee shifter will work to, its longer so it worked great for going around my pull start and still have a little extra room to fit my big feet easily by. Also yz250 and yz250f shifters have been used.

I made one out of the stocker. I cut the long bar part clean at the longest point , cleaned it up & welded it to the splined part that slips on the tranny shaft. You'd never know it didn't come that way from Yamaha!
