Manual choke......should be fine because the choke plunger is brand new. I also just oiled my air filter.......is there a chance that if I over oiled it there might be a restricion of airflow? I would think that a filter would have to be soaked to restrict airflow that much.

pull the filter off and try starting it without the filter if it fires up it is either your filter or you Ide/air mix is extremely rich

Problem solved!!!!!!!!:tup:

Inside the Mikuni BSR 36mm carb there is a stainless collar that the needle drops into.........the collar was on my bench instead of inside the carb....without it, as soon as I would try to start the engine it would basically suck huge puddles of fuel. As soon as I put the collar back in she fired up and she sounds wicked!!!!!!!
