First of all "Hello to all" Now for my problem...I have had this quad a short time and it ran fine until my neighbor installed a tether/cutoff switch for us and he may have tapped into the wrong wires. The cutoff worked just fine, but it immediately was hard to start. It would drag but eventually would start. Now it does nothing but click at the rear of the quad every time you push the start button. I have put a charge on the battery thinking that was the problem, but the battery appears to be fine.

thats your solenoid clicking. You battery is getting drained?

Thanks for the replies guys. I have removed the wiring for the tether, before I did that I had strong headlights and the battery was charged would that still indicate the battery being drained?

When the solenoid clicks like described then its your battery. Could also be bad connections somewhere.

starter relay

ok boys I will try again...i have charged the battery....when I push the start button and hold my hand on the starter relay I can feel the click, at the risks of being a real dork, should I replace that?

Have you checked all the connections?? Put a screwdriver across the 2 posts and see what it does

tyler First I ty 4 trying to help me. I just went out and took a screwdriver from post to post on the starter and got nothing.

this quad has not give me a minutes trouble until my neighbor tapped into obviously the wrong wires for that damn tether. I'm not crashin' on him cause he was tryin to help.

Your supposed to jump the posts on the starter solenoid under the left rear fender, not the starter itself.

Left rear, w/2 post on top...next to 2 small black boxes? Thats where I was. Guys understand this is my first quad, not that mech. inclined, obviously! I do appriciate all the advise. Everything I look up calls it Starter relay Ass. never mentioning the word solenoid. I peeled back the rubber covers on the 2 post and thats where I attempted to jump.

Are your battery terminals clean? No rust or corrosion?

also the starter grounds threw the mounting tabs and starter surface that contacts the case, sometimes mud or corrosion will interupt it grounding. take the starter off clean the mating surfaces and bolts. also while you have it off you can hook a positive from a battery to the post and a ground to the mounting tab and check the starter. i had this problem when i first got my warrior.
