Hi I am new here and I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a 97 warrior 350 that has the 460 kit from CCW with a .450 cam. I am also putting on a edelbrock carb, FMF Q4 exhaust, and a peformance CDI box. PS I am also running without a air box. my question is what is a good starting point for the carb jetting. Thank you for your help.

well there isn't jets in an Edelbrock from my understanding it is all done with the needle. Your best best is to talk to CWR and Edelbrock to get a starting point. I don't think anyone currently active on here has a 460 kit, so you'll have to tell us how she does.

I was wondering how the 460 kit would run I hope u got a oil cooler on that bad boy
Ur deffinently going to have to tell us how she runs id like to see it put up against the fst 446 warrior with same tires and gearing

are you from michigan, thast what i would assume due to your name, but if im not mistaken 1998yamahawarrior has a modded clutch cover for an oil cooler which would be good for yours. adn whereabouts in mich are you? you have anyhting done to the suspension, pics?

thanks for all of your help. to answer your first question i live in St. Clair Shores its about 30miles from Detroit. I am going to run an oil cooler but I dont want to hook it up untill I finish breaking it in, dont want to get all that crap in my new oil cooler...lol But i did some reading and found out a differant way to attach the oil cooler. The big bear 350 uses a oil cooler through the oil filter cap. By using that cap on the warrior is a very easy way to run a oil cooler. once i get it all back together Ill put some pictures up, a few videos, and most of all my dyno sheet.

I'd exagerate my proximity to that filth fest too! :) The cops must love you running that thing up and down little Mack! Welcome to the site- alot of good stuff on here- as far as I've read, I dont think you will be able to do the yz250 shifter mod with the big bear kit.

Welcome, looking forward to seeing all the above!

with a stroker you really should do the clutch cover oil cooler. It pumps the coller oil right to the rod bearings. there is one for sale on this site at a good price.
