That truck was hot man, hate that ya lost it like that. My lil truck is am 82. S10 with a 3-4 drop, I'd like to drop the tail another inch or so. My truck sits on 225/50-15's,.I really want to update the look. It needs some 17's on it atleast. I'm thinking something timeless like Torque Thrust 2's.

4/6 on factory arms is as low as you wanna go.. the a-arms may still hit on pot holes and ****. i'm going 4/6 on my chevy but i'll be running full hotchkis with they's tube arms that correct all the angles and have extra clearance built in. i dont really like a lowered vehicle but it'd the only way to get my truck to handle like i want

Yah I've read up on people trimming the drip channel off the bottom of the arm for more clearance. Apparently it doesn't affect the strength of the arm?

pff $499? my truck is getting over $4k in suspension
I'm a cheap ******! lol.. I can get a 4/6 drop (with shocks) for $600 bucks. Thats 2" springs, 2" spindles, the flip kit, c-notch, and shackles.
If I was gonna spend the kinda money your talk'n about, I would go with a 3 link coilover setup. :iagree:

Here's mine. 4/6 on 20s. Daily driver, doesn't scrub on any bump and minimal tire scrub if you hit a hard bump. Still turns lock to lock without scrubbing anything.

They only been the best selling truck for 30+ years... Haha
I can't complain about it. 231k miles and never a major problem with it.

I've seen a few people with s10s so here's mine too..
225/55/16 with 3/5 drop. Rides pretty good. Bottoms out on hard bumps.

Yah but Chevy's are the longest lasting trucks on the road.. lol
I'm just give'n you a hard time man. I really don't care, I'll drive anything.
But I do find Chev's easier to work on, and they make more power. (Thats a fact)

Thats a clean S-dime. I like that color.

I'm not brand loyal. Just prefer ford full size trucks and government motor s10s...haha
Old Chevys are easier to work on, ill agree.
I took a bright red and dark red to make that color. Recently had it repainted and the paint was given to me. Those 2 gallons made this color. It's pretty close to what it was stock.

GM bought they're self back from the government... no longer government owned thank ya very much!

thread jacking for a sec... has anyone seen the 2014 vette stingray? pretty sure i had a full on orgasm the first time i laid eyes on that sexy son of a bitch 0_0
