Did Greg say how thick the sleeve needed to be? Don't hold out on us guy, lol!

Heres everything he has sent, I do think he has his stock warrior bore mixed up though.

as that inside or out side diameter?
but on most cylinder walls 3mm thick is the safe minimum limit. most stock sleeve wall thickness is a good 3.5 to 4mm mm thick. on some of my big bore sleeves we run a 3mm min thickness. we also have gone to 2.5mm thick. at 2mm or less the sleeve can flex outward as the piston comes down. eventually it will crack and fall off.

on some .080 over pistons on factory sleeves ,like the 300ex , can cause the sleeve to crack at the top of the retainer ring part of the sleeve. then the piston pulls the sleeve down into the crank and boom. done.

stock is a 84mm piston. wiseco offers up to a 40 over. i think namura offers a 60 over which woul d be a 85.5 mm.
for reverence my 400 kits are 89mm bore and i have to resleeve for them.

and the price of a custom piston?

Not sure yet, but Id assume it wouldnt be to ungodly pricey since Id just need it a little bigger. Of course if Im gonna go thru that trouble Id see if they can do one at 11:1 compression to.

Ya I figured that to. Just need to get my cylinder side measured to see if I can still rock it. Keep your fingers crossed for me, Maybe I can keep up with odd things on this quad.

Ill let you all know. Wont be back up at school with it til Monday. With a ruler I might be able to do it, but wont know for sure til I actually get a micrometer to it. Eyes can be deceiving.
