^^^^ AMEN ^^^^ ive seen jaked up 4x4s beat poshes without even blowing smoke or squealing tires poshes are for doctors and their wives real men drive trucks

Lol How is it so hard to spell Porsche? I can guarantee that a truck with 38" tires would loose to a 928. Sorry for hijacking this thread:D

Porsche's get beat all the time because most of the time you only see cheap ones running around like a Boxster or Carrera or something. Generally those kinds of cars aren't about speed though they are about handling, your truck may be able to get off the line quicker and beat it to the twists, but as soon as you get into some twisties that porsche would be gone.

it woould al depend off road race, through the mud boggs still think so. We all have quads right? Let's use a Porshe to tow them to the staging areas lol. But at 14yrs old I was the same way except it was a Lambo

A Porsche definitely isn't an only car, it's a second, third, fourth car. Just like anything else similar such as a high end Jag, Corvette, Lambo, so on.

I never got into Lambo's. They are ugly IMO. Not into American cars either. I deff. like the older PowerStrokes though... like early-mid 2000's. v Thats whats up:D

am i the only one that finds porches butt ass ugly? especially the older model ones and the sad part is my truck not running is worth more then a porsche 20 years newer? thats sad....

I never thought Porsche were that great of course as kid a cool looking fast car was awesome. I will stick to my truck.

I'll admit. The red one is ugly. Sixth 928 ever built, a test car, and its original. Going to be restored though. The Pearl car is beautiful IMO.

Oh yeah man. I saw a Cayman S Turbo the other day... man, I loved it!

hes my truck question, what would cause it to randomly (and I mean randomly) bogg down and pop/backfire. My truck just started doing this. WTF? it will be fine and then it will be all fugged up? Idle just up and down and ect. I can put it in Nutural and park and rev it out and then back to drive and it will occasionally be fine then for a while? (I'm thinking its a spark thing?)

What year model and engine? I got a truck forum that's got a bunch of good guys on it that could help.

If I had to guess, it has to do with the spark. We had a similar problem with am early 928, and it ended up being a vaccuum hose on the fuel system was unhooked, runs great. I don't know if your truck is EFI, but I'd check both of those things.
