Smooth the casting marks out and. Dude you are running way rich chainge jets and it will work perfect

i have agree with DRW on this one dope down to a 155 and 50 ... the stock cam a great low end cam .... im almost 100% positive your run way to rich

can you do a plug chop and take a pic for us to help out better?

when my motor was the 357 i ran the same setup in the carb i got now and b4 it was light tan now with the rebuild its charcoal black

yea but when it was the 357 i had the same jets and it was light tan, now that the rebuild is in with the same jets its runnin like that now maybe its the octane booster

drain the tank and carb put new gas in it and a new plug .... than run it and check the plug out again if its still black re-jet it

well i had an old intake and cut it apart and had the side for the head welded to a keihin 36mm carb so i bolted it on today and now my quad runs like a strappid ass ape. lots of power and no black smoke
