Chain Adjustment

How much adjustment can you get from the chain adjuster. I bought a 13 front and 41 rear sproket and need to adjust at least one chain length. so the chain will connect, I may have cut it too short..GRRRR :'(

you might have to run more then one master link then if you went to short.

I was thinking that, Is that ok though? would it be too weak?

I've done that, before....only problem is that you now have to pay attention to two location instead of just one. I don't see why it would make the chain any weaker.
