Hey guys I am slowly rebuilding the warrior. I know I want to put a new clutch in it since I am rebuilding. Any thoughts on which ones you have had good experiences with? I have always used EBC in the past and have liked them ok. The only thing I really dont like is that almost all kits come with stiffer springs which I dont want. I usually ride 4-6 hrs strait at a time and it really hurts my ******* wrist at the end of the day.

Any suggestions? Also have any of you really liked a set of levers really well. I want something that is smooth and makes it easier to pull in, in case I have to use stiffer springs again. thanks

I use a Barnett clutch with the stiffer springs, I also have a Moose clutch lever off a WR400. With that setup you don't even notice the added spring tension. I'd also suggest using an aftermarket clutch cable, something with a coated inner cable to reduce drag.
This clutch setup works awesome for me, I've never had a complaint.

Well Mickey Dunlap of FST recommends stock clutches and thats what I use with an extra steel on my 446. You can run the stock springs, just add the extra steel so the clutch boss dosn't bottom out against the pressure plate. When you dissassemble the clutch you'll notice out of the 6 steels there are two that are thicker then the other 4, use one of the thicker ones as an extra when reassembling, just put the two steels together.

If your in the market for a really smooth and nice pulling easy pulling clutch get a magura hydrolic clutch. There pricey $200. I have one, i havent hooked it up yet but ive use 3 other fourwheeler that have them and thats why i got it. On the outlaw 525 come stock with them and just amagin how strong those springs have to be to handle that engine, but with that clutch it feals like nothing. I cant wait to hook mine up. Ill tell you how it goes if i get it hooked up soon.

those most likely use more clutch plates and frictions so the spring pressure can be less.

like ratch ive gotta say barnett I have the dirt digger extreme abuse and its phenominal and i bought it for like 100 bucks

Are you talking about their hydraulic clutch lever or actual clutch plates?
