Compatible Parts

A arms are the only chassis componants that don't fit. The swingers will work but the 2nd gens are 1 inch shorter. The 2nd gen heal guards will work, but you will need to come up with a way to secure the rear upper mounts to the frame. Cdi's will not interchange, nether will the stator or flywheels.

I'm not certain that the steering stems are interchangable, becasue 87 had the brass bushing, 88 on had the bearing.
