A 14 tooth case saver would work with a 13 and 12 wouldn't it?

Will with a 13, but not with a 12. The design I use is a tighter fit and tailored to your sprocket size. It's not a one size fits all kind of thing, that type of design can still fail where mine won't.

They come in black also. So you can have black or white with the new style. And I will not be making the old style with aluminum plates, or aluminum plates for these at all.
