well, i think i kno what your thinkin about right? the woods? well the only quad i know of that should be narrower is a ltr450 but look at the gncc racer;s they have a-arms,axles
There are very few kinds of riding I can think of that it would be beneficial to be narrower more than wider. I ride everything from tight technical trails, hillclimbs, mudding, mx, tt, xc, and honestly I could handle an extra few inches on top of the 6 inches my front end is already widened. there are very very few times where I ever encountered a place that I was too wide to make it through the terrain. The extra width especially makes you feel more comforable when you're riding on off-camber trails where a stock machine is thinking about tipping over the whole time. As Pontiac once said, "Wider Is BETTER!"
