Right behind you!
Dude best day ever. Im addicted to racing. Me and my friends build an xc track that had everything, hillclimbs, mud pits, obsticals, tight tricky trails, wide open strait aways, its amazing...well the track isnt that big it takes about 15-20 min to get around at my pace(fast and first) ;D.

Anyways today we finished the track and we finaly got to race on it.

Not the best day for it, my warrior was jacked up. I went to do a little qiuck toon up before the race to find my chain streched and all the way tight so i was riding it really loose during the race. My axle bolts were loose and it was sliding back and forth, my brakes are almost gone, and my engine is starting to smoke. I think the 18 year oldy is almost done. Well i fixed the axle and i made do with the brakes and said **** it to the smoke(its always smoked) and the chain(case is already cracked what else could it do.....cant wait to get my pimped out 1999 engine back, hate this slow stock thing, good for 18 years strong though.

To the races, we had two race(supose to be 5 laps), actualy we didnt finish eather of them because a ******* idiot both times.

There was 4 people racing me with my stock warrior, ben(93warriorridr) on his hevily modded warrior, joel on his uncles 250x bored to 310(THis kid is 6' 4" riding this tiny bike thats smaller then a warrior, it ended up being too top heavy, you will find that out in the second race), and greg which has a brand new 2007 z400 bought about 3 days ago first time out on a wheeler(rode dirt bikes) so he was takin it really easy.

First race i got the holeshot and and took the first three laps alown on the 4th my friend on a 250x bored to a 310 caught up so i kicked it up a notch and got too competative and ended up sliding out around a corner, he passed. But not for long about 20 yards later he got stuck on a hill climb, tires started spinning, haha passed his ass again. No worries after that, on lap 5(last lap) i come to find him still stuck and everyone in a line behind him. Since i was already a lap in front of everyone we stoped that race and just restarted.

Second race i got 3rd in the holeshot then took second out of turn one. I was stuck behind the idiot with the bored 250x we got to the same spot he got stuck in in the first race and went past that. made it no more then 20 yards past that and he hits a tree. Since he had trees on each side of him we couldnt pass him so everyone caught up. So after his stupid ass got unstuck we took off again, still in second, the leader(250x) took a wrong turn so i passed him. Then i took the rest of that lap, the second lap and the start of the 3rd with no problem. Then later in the 3rd lap acutaly right in the beginning of the 3rd lap the kid on the 250x caught back up to me so i punched it to get rid of him. I end up taking that whole lap w/o him come all the way back around to find everyone piled behind is wheeler again. The only diff. was that it was on the strait away now and i was like wtf now could he have done. I walk over to find him laying on the ground his wheeler in the bushes, his shoe 10 feet away from him. I just started laughing i was like really what could you have done to do this. He ended up hitting a rut from a different trail and his wheeler bucked him off, the stupid didnt let go of th wheeler so it draged him and eventualy he let go and it fliped. So we didnt finish that race eather.

But im addicted now i want to race soo bad tomarrow but too bad i have a lacrosse turny in erie PA to go to.

Prepare....lol. The guys you'll be racing when you do it won't be getting stuck on hills, or getting drug by their quads. It's a whole different world on the track, but it's a good time. Just go out and have some fun, but you're gonna be surprised how fast some of the guys out there are.

I know people have been telling me this ever since i wanted to start racing. I know everyone is going to be harder, thats why i basicly made this whole track alown, my friends helped but very seldomly. I just want to get out and do somthing to get me somewhat prepared.

I just need non retarded people to ride with, somebody that will give me some compitition, also i wish my motor was finished, my brakes wernt so bad, had my other tires on, and my chain wasnt soo loose. I have a lot of **** i have to do before i race.

I have big ass paddle tires and im reconsidering putting them on because there just so big. I think they will grab too well in trails. Check them out.

There pure sport realitors

I want to get some turf tamers and cut this pattern into them
turftamercutouts.jpg

I think if i cut out the black on those tires i could make the perfect tred for woods riding. THey wont grab too much and in mud and loose dirt they will clean them selfs out when spinning b/c the tred is further apart out unlike my HD's(which i have on now, worst in mud) and these before getting cut.

What you all think about that cut pattern on the tamers?

i have the xc and i think they are awsome they get awesome traction when needed and i can slide it when i want to on just about anything i think youd be crazy to cut them but awsome on the race thing i raced my first 2 weekends ago the place i was at i race c class and it wasnt bad i was actually pretty fast only 2 min behind the fastest person in my class till my quad died but yea have fun what series are you gonna race

I don't think I'd cut the tires. There's gonna be times (all tracks have mud pits and deep ass ruts) that you need all the traction you can get. Drive your ass over to PA and I'll take you out riding. Go up to Tri-County and run them hard nonstop for 2 hours and see how ya hold up.

Thats why im cutting them, i have turf tamers on my mojave and they do great with traction, in hard packed surfaces, but once you get to loose stuff and mud, since the tred is so close together the mud sits inbetween the tred and doesnt clean themselfs out. With the wider gaps i would be cutting in it the mud will clean its self out better, inturn giving me better traction in looser material, which where i ride everything is loose and muddy.

Also i would love to go to PA and ride, i know some people over there just dont have the time or money. School, lacrosse, and 2 jobs, with huge dept kinda leaves me with no time.

97warriorrider, the track we made isnt that long at all idk the exact distance but it takes about 15-20 min to get around going fast well not even that probly 10-15(we might acutaly be srinking it because some of it is pointless so it might be 5-10 mins, here soon). But the track has everything. 2 hillclimbs, 2 mud pits, a big ass strait away, ruts, natural obsticals that you have to slow down for just because you can berialy fit though(actualy a really dangurous spot we made is where 2 huge ass trees, probly 3 feet in diamiter each fell acrosse this trail, we cut through them but they were cockeyed from eachother so that you couldnt go strait though you had to make a "s" shape to get around them, you probly had a couple inches on each side)...I would love to get a vid or some pics of this place to show you guys. I might acutaly get some pics because im going over there to work on it and fix some minor things that pissed everyone off like random prickers that cut you up.

Thanks guys, i just need some good competion, i mean i have ben but hes kinda new to riding and racing, its his first or second year riding. But idk nobody can touch me in the woods, but i get in those straits and they catch up. I hope this new piston and cam im getting help.

im not that far away i ride in PA some times. we should plan a trip some time on here with a bunch of warrrior/ raptor guys down to wellsville before they shut it down.

Has anyone ever been there?

If you've never been to Wellsville be careful. It's like death waiting to happen down there. Just look before you leap, cause there's trails that just lead to cliffs, hillclimbs with huge ledges in the middle of them, etc. Not to mention all the guys in jeeps, buggies, and trucks flying around all over the place. A lot of people get hurt there, but it's still a damn good time.

O god damn ive been there plunty, yeah be careful down there guys. I herd it was somthing like 23 deaths just last year down there.

But yeah my bros friend has a cabin down there, i went a couple of times. That place is a blast but dangerous as **** 2 weeks ago my oldest bro took my middle bros mojave down there, was going up a hill when a dirtbike came screamind down the trail, he got pushed off the trail, rolled the bike almost down a clif but hit a tree(lucky basterd), well damage was broken plastics, bent bars, bent fender stays. and a bunch of nasty scrapes on his back and arms. But yeah i had a blast the couple of times i went down there.

We should plan a trip somwhere... has anyone been to waynes national forest in southern ohio. Place is an easy ride buts its wicked fun and fast.
