im gonna be getting a +2 inch axel for the rear, do u think if I just flipped my front rims it would be enough to even it out?? anyone got any pics of ure front rims flipped?? thanx

also im lookin into getting a cam.... should i get a hotcam or go for the webcam?, i want some more bottom mid range power
 
they should be about the same maybe a little wider in the rear, depending on if your rear wheels are flipped also. heres an older pic of mine with the flipped front wheels

Assuming that the raptor has the same offset on the stock wheels, you'll gain about 4 inches over stock. Check out my pics. I have the front wheels flipped and i'd never go back to the narrow stock setup.

I've heard claims of the bearings wearing out quicker with flipped wheels, but my warrior has very high mileage for a 2001, and even with the wheels flipped for almost 2 years the original bearings are still as tight as can be.
 
yes, drill a new hole, turn the old valve stem upside down and pull it through the hole. If you have something to seal it up with do so because mine leaked
 
I have concerns when it comes to turning the valve stems inside-out as it has been suggested. Wanting to flip my wheels too I was looking at a pack of new valve stems at the parts store and noticed that the two ridges on the stem, that provide the sealing, are 2 different sizes. The inner ridge is large, which makes sense because when installed properly it's the air trying to push the valve stem out. The large ridge prevents that. When you turn 'em inside-out you are now relying on the other, tiny ridge to hold the stem in against the pressure. Not only are you talking about the static 3-4 PSI, but the dynamic pressure spikes when you land the bike, or hit objects.

I decided to buy the Gorilla low-profile valve stems and seal the original valve stem holes with those, drill the new holes and install new stems. That way I know the holes won't leak. I spent $10 for a pack of 4 of Gorilla LP stems. A local tire shop ordered them for me, but you look at them online at http://www.gorilla-auto.com/products/?sfID1=270&sfID2=289

I didn't have any problems with my flipped valve stems leaking. Didn't do anything special, just stuck em in.
 
Hmmmm.........I never heard anyone complain about durability in Hotcams before.
Peeps having problems with them ? Mine seemed fine for the passed two years,Havnt even needed to readjust the rockers yet.................

I persoanlly liked my Hotcam.......It does for sure give more power. You can feel the differance.
I had no experiences with the other 2, I 'm sure there great also. Maybe even better.
The reason for the hot cam was it was Cheaper..........By a bunch for the package that is!

No need for new springs.........the duration profile is low enough for stock ones.
Hardwelded rockers arnt recommended.........another savings.

Actually I reused my old ones and got away with it..............Yeah I know ,A no no LOL
But it worked.

So if your looking to save some cash I wouldnt hesitate to use a HotCam...........there pretty good for the money...........and can be had on e-bay in the 130 range last time I looked.
