Header stud size

What are the dimensions of the header studs? I need length, width and thread spacing (fine or coarse). I think it's M6 width with coarse threads, but I have no idea about how long it is. I already snapped 3 for some reason, and there's no way that I'm paying $6 for one again, so I'm going to buy a bolt the same size and just use that. So much easier than threading in the stud and then the nut. I can't see why Yamaha wouldn't just use bolts.

i believe they are m6x1.00, thats a 10mm sized bolt anyhow and i think they are the same.

Thanks, but are you sure about the length? 1cm seems really short. Can somebody measure theirs if they have one lying around?
