i have an 01 warrior pulled it apart to paint it. put it back together and put a new stater in it and im not getting no spark. its got a couple sparks randomly but nothing steady. its got a new battery in it all the grounds are good its getting power in the ignition coil all i have is a test light. could being out of time or the valves have anything to do with it...the sparks plug is new :argh:please help!!!!!!!

Yea I cleaned all the grounds there all good it's a caltric stator

the white wires seems lose in the connector i don't know if it matters but can i just cut them off and splice them together. could it be anything else?

The white wires are the charging ones and since they are just loose I wouldnt worry about them. The maker of the stator has me worried thats one of them that cant be trusted 100%, it could actually be bad. You need to ohm it, so we can figure that out first.

Whats the two white things that mount on the frame next to the starter rely the one closes to the back of the bike is gettin really hot and clicking

Why would they be click could it be cause of a bad starter relay?this things got me so pissed of

the click is most likely the starter relay. there is 2 post on top, you can arc them together with a screwdriver and it should crank over if the battery is charged. If it clicks when you hit the start button and cranks when you arc it is either the relay, start button or a wire in between them. The click is not the cause of a bad starter relay, it's a sign that it may be bad

I know I can arc them but it cranks over with the button the relay clicks but it cranks real hard and slow than like pops I can't really describe it its a brand new battery is it the starter or the starter clutch or something else

Dose it make a grinding/gears splining sound? If so ur starer clutch is shot

If not try jumping it off with ur car and if it cranks any easyer muli meter the battery and check for low amps and if the batt checks out id say ur starter is going out

Its more like a clunk clunk sound if it is the one way would that cause it not to run I tried pulling it to start it but nothing its still not get spark can wires pull out the stator? Im ready to throw this thing in the dumpster

Is that pop more of a buzz shound? check your battery to make sure it is still charged, if it's not test the white wires on your stator, they charge the battery. And it should pull start I would think

I just jump the starter off my truck and it lts still clunks where should I look at cause its still not gettin spark and im pretty sure that's the whole problem thanks for your help man.
