And on top of that, Why sink That much dough into a quad, or car for that matter. When you could have a quicker/better handling one to begin with, then sink some money into that and get something that others will have a hard time keeping up with...

Banshees run 38 or so stock add pipes your up close to 50

Banshees do NOT run 38 stock and arent coming close to 50 with just a pipe/filter. I would say 28 - 30 HP is a more realistic stock number.

Second of all I miss my warrior very much - if I could of kept it I would have - its an AWESOME machine. For the people who love their warriors, like the reliability, and enjoy tinkering with the older motors its a blast. you CAN NOT do nearly as much to a newer style motor for as cheap as u can with the older styles. The new motors today come so worked out of the box there isnt **** u can do to them besides port work, strokers, and spraying really.... I enjoyed modding the **** out of my old warrior with go-fast goodies - it was good fun.

I'm with ya their death, My warrior never had a problem for being 5 years old. Reliability was crazy on that thing, I know my z probably couldnt take what my 350 has.

If the banshees running 28 30 stock the warrior has 10 maybe 12 horse. stock 250rs run more than 30 horse. Every dyno Ive seen and I know they vary greatly shows well above 35 stock on a banshee. pipes jetting and filters put you well into the 40s not quite 50 but close some mild porting and weisco pistons your looking at 50+ some major porting and a stroker your lookin at 70+ horse. Im not sure where you got 28 but Its faulty. They say the yfz450 puts out 40+ horse. Well Ive run 3 of them 05s and an 06 both bone stock on my piped shee. I beat the 05s by a little over a quad and the 06 I traded wins with. I did lose to a piped filtered 05 yfz by a nose. I think your numbers are crazy the rz 350 which is what the banshees based on was a 60 horse motor your telling me it has half of that????? No way!!

I think your numbers are crazy... You are going off of DYNO JET Dynos which do NOTHING but spin/free wheel a ******* drum lol. We have a FP Dyno in the shop and its load simulated - we get REAL HP numbers on it.

The dynojet dynos that all these companies use to show numbers are ********; they are off by an assload - anyone who knows wtf they are talking about will tell you the DJ dynos are full of ****.

Oh so true..........I especially like car part advertised HP.
Way off on the numbers. Never once did I see a part Dyno'ed that gave any where near the HP it should.

The only thing I did see come close was a 100 hp NOS shot on a Vette...........it gave 98. Which actually could have been a dyno variable.

In short if you want to keep up with newer machines the best way to do it is simply with nos and a good top end motor kit. In actuality I spent the same amount on the basic mods as it would of costed for the difference on a newer machine. I don't see a point in racing if you didn't even build your setup.

Those werent dyno jet numbers but actually a race shop that I use numbers. They claimed the warrior at a little over 18 and a new yfz 450 out of the box at 37 and after uncorking 42
A bone stock 06 banshee was run at 37 and after toomeys filter reeds spacers and jetting they turned a 46.5 then they had a trinity stage 4 banshee running 63 hp. Im sure youl dispute but I guess if your dyno is the only one that spits out "real horsepower" I guess Ill have to bring mine there after I finish it over the winter. These runs did use different tires but close in approx size to actual. They had some special tires for the dyno I dont know what they were but they were designed to reduce spin. I believe they were run in third gear but not sure like 2500-9000 rpm . They also do sleds here too but its a land and sea dyno hooks to the fly wheel or clutch!
