she fired and idles but as soon as the throttle lever lifts off the TORS button it bogs and dies

purrs like a kitty kat! and revs like a lion! not bad for sitting outside for 2 years hey?

Hell no. Now we need a vid of it revving. Don't know if the cable makes a difference or not. Ditch the hunk of crap!

You can do a tors delete on it Hauler, just Google it, I think some of the kits come complete with cable and everything. Or... You can hit up Ebay for a switch. I'm trying to remember I'd that switch can just be jumpered, part of the switch is up in the thumb throttle housing if I remember correctly. I'll look at the Blasties tomorrow to refresh my memory.

If the new cable doesn't fix that TORS issue, again I have NO idea how that stupid thing works, try to disable it somehow. Rig it up so the button stays down.

ha it is because of no cable as long as the thumb throttle is pushed at the same time it works fine

So you have no cable to the thumb throttle and you guys were just pulling the slide in the carb by a broken cable? Makes sense of it was acting dumb until you took the thumb throttle off it's seat. Like I said, there is a switch in that throttle housing and it's seated at idle. Yeah, that would piss it off, lol!

REV REV!! should work better with an actual cable installed thats reving with just the thumb throttle being pushed with the lever in the TORS and the boy wasn't keeping up with my thumb so thats why it was bogging haha!!
