I wouldn't get the TORS from Alex. If you wanna do it and he wants to sell, that's cool. But, if you are going to go through all the trouble to swap it out, AND, buy it off him, you are far better off buying the delete kit and eliminating it. Besides, his TORS may not fix it. I would just be saving myself the extra work.

I polished the slide to a shiny gleam it's not sticking but now I just went back out fired her up and she runs great I still can't get her to idle for too long without having to rev it to keep her running but holy hell does she scream when I take off on her my boy can't believe how fast it takes off from a dead stop! put's the warrior to shame haha!

I really don't want to mess with the TORS or the wiring right now maybe this spring when we redo the whole quad
Alex show me some pics of that TORS you have inside and out and a price.

are these ******* always this difficult to get the idle correct?

Did you check your floats? Thats the first thing I look at when a carb has been sitting for a while..
Kinda sounds like your getting just a bit to much fuel in the bowl.

maybe I should start with a carb rebuild kit but everything was in good shape and cleaned up nicely
besides the TORS adjuster that was the worst but I cleaned it up and greased the mech up good

Hauler get rid of the tors, it's just a pain in your ass.. Then do yourself a favor and cut that silencer down, as soon as you wheelie back on it, it's toast. Sold one to a kid last year for that reason. As far as how quickly it idles down...Blasters will hold a bit of a high idle for a lil bit after a hard run, it's the built up mixture in the case that's trying to work ours way out. Without hearing it I can't tell ya exactly what I think b/c I don't know man. Turning the mix screw in Richens it, I usually test and tune with and see how it does.

I had the air/fuel screw at 2 turns out and noticed she had a eventual pop or back fire randomly so I put is at 2.5 turns out and it went away but first I tried turning it in and she would just rev higher so I think 2.5 is where she needs to be

Yeah it would be nice but I'm a little shy for cash right now thats why I'm trying to make do with what I have or maybe do some bartering??
Hmmmmmm... I might know where theres a 30mm mikuni, I could get.
If I can get it for free, I'll send it to ya. But you'll owe me one. lol

also you don't have to remove the tors cap to get rid of the tors system just unplug that then remove the tors box under the hood. dsomeone posted a link on here to it and best of all it is FREE

and the brick makes the throttle easier to pull just saying. so do ya want that tors? how much ya wanna pay?
