Minkuni carb

I'm gettin a 38mm minkuni vm carb for my 87 warrior I've got some work done to it planning on have more soon hot rods stroker crank stage 2 hot cams HMF competition exhaust. I'm gona get it ported too... I'm pretty sure I'm gona have to re jet-this carb but my sure where to start with the jets? Also I'm gona have to modify the airbox any recommendations?

Around the 250ish on the main.
30 or 35 on the pilot.
Pm ms warrior we just set his up.

250-270 on the mains is gonna be the range your in. 30-35 pilot.

Will these jet choices be ok still if I'm gona run VP 98 octane race fuel?

Ya they should be close man. You will have to play around with it a bit. Takes all of about 2 mins to change main jets. I would start in the range posted above ( that's where I am with some modest motor work) and figure out your air fuel mixture and run the piss out of it! You will not be disappointed.

I have a hot rods stroker crank +4mm with a 83.94 vertex piston and a stage two hot cam
