I think that I am going to pick some paint for the plastics... I'm going to go with black... who thinks I should go flat black and who thinks glossy?

If you decide to go with the JE 10.5:1. piston it'll actually produce a bit more compression than advertised due to enlarged bore area. You can also get a thinner head gasket and or eliminate the base gasket altogether for a lil more compression. I'd advise getting an adjustable cam sprocket though.

Painted the rear plastics today.

Looks good. Painted plastics still chip and scratch. But its an option for another color if anything. Least you took the time to prep.

yeah I don't do 1/2 ass work... if I can help it. I might get you to make me up some new graphics once I'm done with the build if you don't mind Deadlast.

ive never stuck any of my kits to painted plastic but we might be able to work something out.

Got the gas tank cover painted and the front fender mostly painted until I ran out of paint today on my lunch hour.

Dropping the cylinder off at the machine shop tomorrow. Then I just need to save up for a few weeks for the piston, cam, and valves.

Does anyone happen to have a stock cam laying around that they could measure the lobes on? I would like to try to find out what cam this is that I pulled out of my engine before I buy my web .390.

No I don't think it is. But I just want to make sure it is stock. Because it is still is good shape, so I was thinking about letting someone have it if they want it. Was just trying to verify that it was indeed a stock cam.
