welp it's together and ready to bolt on the bike. I mixed bleach and baking soda together and cleaned my plastics! omg there white again!!!! haha now i need some stickers! any donations to the needy dr650??? lol

****! it's raining and there calling for a ice storm and 5 inshes of snow :/ and the bike is to big to work on in the shop so puting the engine on the bike will have to wait :'(

Are you replacing both sprockets and the chain all at once?

yeah... i've got the new front sprocket ad the chain... they sent me the wrong rear sprocket so isent it and the flywheel puller back for a refund sooooo i'm gonna go to some local shops tomorrow to see if i can find the correct rear so i can put it all on at one time

motor out... again... case slit... again.
i've got new shift forks, shift drum and fork rods on the wat... turns out there about 5mm of play in second gear that i didn't catch when i put it back together... so maybe this will fix it

Cool, now what ya going to do with it? Can't leave it stock, that wouldn't be any fun!

I just fired mine up last weekend, I can't remember how long it had been since I started it but the battery was dead as a brick and I forgot to shut off the gas and run it out before i left it sit so it took about 100 kicks to get it going, I thought i was going to break my ankle before I got it to start.

kick this damn 650 over lol. uh prolly some lizard skins fork boots, i got some knobbies on it now but in june i'm going to throw my DOT's on it.
acerbis hand gaurds are in the future along with a custom skid to protect the oil pump better.
got new sprockets and a new EK chain on it
gotta get a K&N for it, jet kit, and i'm going to mod the carb, fit a two broters racing carbon exhaust on it. and maybe in a year or so have the frame and swinger powder coated... it'll DEFF be a on going project thats never complete lol
