I just bought dave76's +2 arms.. and man they are great.. I had a race this weekend.. but because of a wiring problem end up with a DNF.. :-[ The only thing is I guess I going to have to get my shocks revalved, because they are a little to soft..

Looks real good Austyn, now get an axle and some engine mods and I think we might have to make an addition to the Elite section.

Yeah unfortunatly if you had them setup for just stock a arms then the springs rates are a little different, and they need to be resprung. Valving should be ok though unless you change the riding style (ie. going from xc to mx, just an example).

Man what a huge bumper!! I bet you can cut some **** down with that bitch!

Thats the only thing to have when you racing XC.. That way when there is a few slow people in front of you.. you are able to let them know that your back there.. just give them a little push.. ;D ;D ;D

So basically I just need to a have a stiffer spring put on.. I sent a message to C&D about getting them revalved, but that would be cheaper if he just needs to put a new spring on.. because they are still are new..

Dude! That thing looks nice! The shocks you have on it were set up for your stock arms originally right? That may be why the shocks are soft with your new +2 arms. How's you do in the race till the DNF?

I knew they were goin to be soft.. But I thought I would just tighten the hell out of them and they would be ok.. But I was wrong..

I got the holeshot and was leading intill I came to the some really deep water.. Then my electrical problem started..

r u running your rims offset too? It looks wider then just +2 and i can see your calipers sticking out quite widely.

Looks bad ass man, love the bumper, prm all the way, im getting the summit some time soon too. Idk how its gunna look on my warrior thought. But idc there so strong.

I just talked to C&D and they told me 230 to have them resprung and revalved... I also asked about adding remote rezzies and the was like 310.. So I really don't think that worth it..

$310 compared to $750 ain't worth it, thats double the price. If they said $230 plus $310 then yeah just go for a new set. Actually the shocks with adjustable compression runs about $865, non copression is $750. It's your choice, your racing so you probably want the best available shock you can get. I said it before, shocks get confusing because their expensive and we can never make our minds up which one we want to get. So which ever ones you do get, your kinda stuck with them or you have to unload them cheap and spend a ton of money on another set.
