noob here...ok so I took my raptor 350 out to my usual riding spot an it seems as if it has lost alot of power... there is a hill I used to climb effortlessly last week and now it struggles any ideas ?? is it time for a rebuild ?
also not sure if the 50 cc is a big difference but my honda 400 seems to have alot more power than my raptor

I would lean towards either you are having an air/fuel issue or like 20warrior00 said, maybe the clutch is starting to slip which will surely slow you down on the hills. Compression loss is typicaly something that happens so slowly that you don't notice it, unless you sucked up a lot of dirt, hydrolocked it, or something similarly devastating to the top end.

How about the air filter? When was the last time that was cleaned? Do you ride in the mud? I've seen exhaust baffles get plugged with mud and choke up the engine before. It wouldn't hurt to check the spark plug and maybe take the carb apart and give it a quick once over to check for any signs of dirt and obstructed jets.

How about fuel? Did you switch to a different kind of fuel since the last time you rode? My warrior seemed to be more tempermental with certain kinds of fuels, especially when I ran 87 in it.

ride mostly dunes ( stationed in El Paso all desert here) but I cleaned my flter and carb... runs so much better :) thanksfor your input
