well i had it running and trying to slowly work in the new piston and rings, my co-worker found a 2003 and baught it so i was going to take mine over to compair them and it was super hard to start and them flooded, so i WOT it got it to start and ran ok but wouldnt idle then when i got it over to his house the same thing again, got it to run again ran it down the road and back one time and it died and then flooded out again!!! what the hell, now i got it home and fired up hard ran rough for a few minites wouldnt idle then and ran like **** then died and cant get it to fire up again, i did the carb rebuild thing but didnt replace everything cuz didnt no where it all went but going to open it up again, any ideas guys, im never going to get to run this thing it seems..

I was thinking the float thing also but i replaced the needle thing in there but not the float itself,,and no i didnt check for gas in the oil but will go look wright now..

Do that. It could be as simple as your carb is out of tune. Could be a bad spark plug (put a new one in there now anyway). Your float height might be too high. The needle's seat may be damaged...

i just checked it and the float is to high, i just adjusted it to about 1/2'' so maybe that will help and im going to replace the long needle for the throttle cable and the idle scew, i didnt do these when i was first in there..

I got it to start and its running again but sounds rough i didnt have another spark plug to put in it but i set the airmixture screw to factory specs (1 1/4 turns) and then turned it up just a hair more, now my carb side cover and bolle gaskets are getting damp, i hate this carberator ****, i just want it to frickin run!!!! I have brand new clutches, new oil, just put on some nice wheels and rims and have all new decals and get the fucker to run wright#$%##$%%#$,,,,,,

It's an 88, I can't explain it correctly but its just rough, idling but if i lightly hold the throttle I can keep it running, it just feels rough and with the airbox off I can rev it up and see the dust or mist of gas come out of the carb, I just picked up 3 new plugs so I'm hoping that's it.

Plus correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the air/fuel mixture screw supposed to be backed 2 1/4 turns and not 1 1/4?

have you played with the idle screw?
try turning that in a little these warriors are supposed to Idle between 1450-1550rpm's

then it is running WAAAAAYYYYYY to rich!

Sorry guys my wife wanted to go bowlling last night with her parents so i couldnt do anything,, I can do a vid but it will take awhile, i did adjust up the idle to keep it running but you can tell even then that its running rough, and if its way to rich because the misting back out of the carb, as i said its adjusted to the factory specs maybe just a hair more!! Im going to install the plug and try it again in alittle while cuz its frickin cold out side,, the gas is not brand new but alittle old..

I took a vid im just waiting for vimeo to reveiw it but i did check the timing marks and with the crank at T the top sprocket mark is just a hair past the mark so it should be good on timing i did notice when i goose the throttle it will spit back like theres to much fuel or the timings off, vid will be up soon..

you can here how its rough and almost lopes, i turned down the idle a hair to make it more noticable in the vid,,, https://vimeo.com/56200060 i have a new sparck plug in it, checked timing its good, all new jets and new throttle needle, and new airmixture screw set to factory,,help please!!!!!
