With the springs off the front shocks when you push the shaft in is it suppose to come back by itself? My friend was saying not necessarily but any new shock I ever had did.

Stock shocks are ok for the average rider, but in all reality they're about 10% of what a good aftermarket shock can be, they leave a lot of room for improvement but you'll spend about $350 at a minimum for aftermarket shocks, personally i'd spend $500 on a better brand than Works, my personal experience with them was not all that great.

Leave the shock covers off, the only good they can do is keep dust off the shaft which really doesn't hurt anything. Shock covers will hold in dirt, mud, and moisture and actually end up shortening the life of the shock unless you remove them and clean both the cover and shock after every ride. Even with that they will still eventually rub the paint off the springs and make them look like hell.

Your friend is right, doesn't necessarily mean they're bad if they don't return, but usually they do. The real test is how they actually work, no other way to tell. There aren't any internal springs so the only force that there is to push the rod out is the pressure it's charged with. It might just have too much static friction between the shaft and seals for that pressure to overcome it. Of course it could also mean that it lost that nitrogen charge. There would be evidence of oil leaking out of the shock if that was the case.

Thanks thats the same kit I found I might try it. The rear caliper was locked up pretty bad I had to hit the big pin out with a punch. I got it cleaned up though and moving freely now but I tore one of the boots.

I got the caliper all apart and ordered that kit.

Got the plastic all cleaned up today with water and super clean scrubbing it with a tooth brush. I think all the plastic will need is a light buff on a few small marks that I couldnt get out there are some scratches but not too bad. Its white plastic and under the seat there are some spots that are stained has anyone ever tried bleach or would that mess it up?

I also got the front hubs took apart the bearings seem fine but think I might get new grease seals. Have to get another brake disc on one side also cause a bolt got stripped and to get it out I had to weld a nut too it so im sure its warped now.

Heres how the plastic turned out. Im still going to buff it and put some kind of protectant on it though. It is as clean on the underside too.

Ehh im not that into graphics I dont like helmets with them either. I got some more parts today should have it back together shortly just have to get a few more parts powder coated.

i wish they would make a nose cone or whatever them are called for the warrior that looked like that but would work with the stock front fenders.

Ya i thought about that but i already have my front set up to where it looks pretty awesome, i just dont think it would look very good at all with the blaster hood.

I like the look of a stock clean warrior really maybe with a different bumper.
I hopefully ordered the last of the parts today. I ordered a new chain and sprockets and protapers.

I dropped the rest of the parts off at the powder coaters today. I might get the axle done also cause it will be too much of a pain to keep from rusting.

I sandblasted and painted the rear caliper. I also got the grab bar painted and the wires that the heal guards bolt too.

Ok here we go I got some pics I didnt wipe off the finger prints yet tho. The swing arm was done and looked great except for 1 spot where some grease came out. It was in a weird spot too not from where the bearings were cause that was taped off.
