reverse problems

when I shift into reverse the engine dies. the clutch will be in and im half way into reverse and then it dies. I checked the wires up front but have not checked the reverse solenoid. has anyone had this problem, or what do you think is the problem

reverse wire up front is disconnected.

when my brother took off his ebrake, he had the same symptoms as you. he forgot to splice 2 wires together. after that it runs fine.

Thanks everybody. I screwed up and left the wire disconnected for some reason.
