Right behind you!
I just thought i would let you all know. You should sharpen your stock foot pegs. There naturaly rounded and you slide off of them. I took a dremmil to them and it took me about 45 min to get both sides sharp. And i dont slip at all. Just a cheap mod i think some of you would like.

I really need to do this, I tried powersliding in light rain and my feet were all over the place, almost fell off because I had nothing to hold on to but the bars. A dremel cutoff disk is strong enough to go through this steel? I was thinking angle grinder, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to reach all of the raised edges with the pegs mounted.

i used an angle grinder for mine and it worked good, but i couldnt get to afew of the spots but i did get a majority.

Well what size is your angle grinder? My brother has a 3 inch and it looks like it could work good and even if you need to take them off its worth it. Just put them in a vice and go at them. Just make sure to tight them down to the right specifications from a manual so you dont break off the bolts in the frame

I don't want to take them off though. I took the left one off and now it's screwed. One bolt snapped the mounting part inside the frame and another lost its threads and took the threads inside the frame with it. So now it's just kinda hanging off. I'm afraid the same will happen with the other if I take it off.

BTW: Nice Warrior, I like the paint scheme. :p

yea it was prolly about a 3 inch angle grinder it for sure wasnt a big one

Yikes.... what kinda of boots are you guys using?

I've never had to sharpen peg-teeth for as long as I've been riding/racing.

I have fox somethings but its just that the teeth on the pegs are rounded and not pointy. So it helps with everything ive noticed. Weather its tenis shoes, boots, or riding boots. They all feal a lot tighter on the pegs. I dont slide around anymore.

O and thanks for the compliment mad cow.

I wear sneakers or winter boots, depending on how cold it is. But my pegs are really badly rounded, I'll slip off sometimes even if it's dry.

My stockers werent to terrible in dry weather but if it was even just a bit wet I had to hang on cuase I didn't know if my feet were gonna stay on. I usually ride with my work boots on.

Yea I agree that this is a good idea, some of the earlier year yamaha and hondas were really rounded from the factory.
